Ultra-low emissions Tiguan eHybrid joins Volkswagen range

Just what we've all been waiting for... the SUV eHybrid has arrived

From £35,515 OTR the plug-in hybrid drivetrain is now available in Life, Elegance and R-Line trims

The fleet-friendly Volkswagen Tiguan eHybrid has opened for order to UK customers today, and is a key piece in our 'Way to Zero' climate strategy. The newest PHEV model has a CO2 output of just 38 g/km with the capability to travel up to 30 miles purely on electric power from a single full charge.

The eHybrid combines a 1.4L TSI petrol engine and a powerful electric motor, with an output of 245ps and 250Nm of torque. The model always starts journeys in all-electric E-MODE if the battery is sufficiently charged, and can be used at speeds of up to 80mph.

The Life specification boasts 3-zone automatic climate control, Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist, front & rear parking sensors, Discover Media Navigation and an 8inch touchscreen as standard. IQ.Light LED matrix headlights are also a standard feature for Life and Elegance models, and optionally available for R-Line.
