The enhanced 2020 Tiguan with a new look and equipment is more connected, stylish, and efficient than ever before...
With over 6 million units sold worldwide since its launch back in 2007, the Volkswagen Tiguan is taking lead for the success of SUVs and is now available in 80% of countries! With a fresh look and fresh technology, the new Tiguan has the IQ. Light LED Matrix headlights, 8-inch touch screen infotainment system, and improved convenience with touch-sensitive steering wheel controls for selected models.
The model will be available in four specifications, starting with entry-level Tiguan trim kitted with a 1.5-litre TSI 130ps engine and 6-speed gearbox. This trim has 17-inch 'Montana' alloy wheels, LED headlights, Lane Assist, Front Assist, multifunction front-facing camera and starts at £24,915 RRP OTR. The next step-up from this spec is the Tiguan Life which adds Adaptive Cruise Control, front & rear parking sensors, and Dynamic Road Sign Display.
With the 2020 Tiguan, there are two range-topping variants, the Elegance and R-Line. Both are available with 1.5L TSI 150ps engines with a quick-shifting 7-speed DSG transmission. Two diesel engines are currently available across Elegance and R-Line Specifications, 150ps and 200ps 2.0L.
Tiguan Elegance
This specification is kitted up with 19-inch 'Auckland' alloy wheels with a Dark Graphite finish, IQ. Light LED matrix headlights, silver roof rails, and chrome trim around the side windows. On the interior, 30-colour ambient lighting is available with heated front seats in ArtVelours upholstery design. A heated steering wheel and Volkswagen's Digital Cockpit Pro finish off the smart design on the new 2020 Tiguan Elegance.
Tiguan R-Line
Similar to the Elegance spec, the R-Line comes with 30-colour ambient lighting, heated front seats, and the Digital Cockpit Pro as well as keyless entry and start. The R-Line also features Emergency Assist and Travel Assist, facilitating Level 2 autonomous driving.
