Golf GTI Clubsport 45 open for order

45 years of hot-hatch history is marked by the GTI Clubsport 45 special edition!

It's finally here - Clubsport Edition open for order from £39,980 RRP OTR.

300 PS, 400 Nm of torque, 0-62mph in 5.6-seconds, Akrapovic titanium sports exhaust system... None other than the quickest and most powerful production Golf GTI in the game - open for order at Breeze Volkswagen.

Exterior

The already sporty aesthetic of the GTI Clubsport has now been given even more additional assertiveness with a set of 19-inch 'Scottsdale' alloy wheels with a high-gloss black finish and Tornado Red pinstripe around the trim. The special edition title is shown in the '45' lettering on the side sill panels, as well as a metallic black finish to door mirror covers and upper spoiler.

Interior

On the interior, GTI lettering is on the backrests of the front sports seats, with the '45' emblem in the centre spoke of the steering wheel. Artvelours fabric door panels and a leatherette arm support adds further luxury and reminds the driver they are a part of hot hatchback history.

Performance

The performance in this special edition remains the same as in the GTI Clubsport, with fuel economy of 37.7mpg on the combined WLTP test cycle. As well as performance, the Clubsport 45 edition also comes with a Vehicle Dynamics Manager working with electromechanical front-axle locking differential and XDS electronic differential lock. This eliminates the understeer often associated with front-wheel drive cars.
