COVID-19: TEMPORARY BUSINESS CLOSURE

COVID-19 UPDATE: TEMPORARY BUSINESS CLOSURE

Dear Customer,

The health and well-being of our team, our customers and their families is of the upmost importance to us.

As such, with the COVID-19 situation changing rapidly, we have taken the difficult but necessary decision to temporarily close all our businesses from 6pm today (Monday 23rd March 2020) until further notice.

If you currently have a vehicle with us, we will be in touch with you directly and are aiming to have all vehicles returned to customers by 6pm on Tuesday 24th March.

We will be cancelling all appointments over the next two weeks and, moving forward, will contact customers with existing bookings on a week by week basis.

On behalf of the Breeze Motor Group team, thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we are able.

Mark Langford

Managing Director, Breeze Motor Group

The senior management team of Breeze Motor Group take the COVID-19 outbreak seriously and we are doing all we can to ensure the well being of our colleagues and customers.

This includes:

  • The formation of a Coronavirus Action Team who monitor and implement UK Government and Public Health Guidance
  • Ensuring employees receive regular updates on new operating procedures aimed at protecting our colleagues, customers and the business
  • Restricting employee travel to meetings and between multiple showrooms
  • Introducing software to enable remote working where possible
  • Increasing the frequency of dealership cleaning and disinfecting surfaces such as doors, phones and deks
  • Increasing the deployment of antibacterial hand sanitisers and hand wipes within the business
  • Regular disinfection of car handles, gear knobs and steering wheels
  • Introduction of a no handshake policy across the Group
  • Installation of posters to reinforce good handwashing practice

If you have been to any of the affected locations listed on the UK Government website, or if you have had to self-isolate due to potential exposure to the virus, please let us know before your visit so we can discuss the best way to manage your requirements.

If you are showing any symptoms, please DO NOT visit our showrooms.

On behalf of the Breeze Motor Group team, thank you for your co-operation and understanding.

Breeze Motor Company Ltd, Breeze (Southampton) Ltd and Breeze Motorcycles Limited are Appointed Representatives of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 571076). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Breeze Motor Company Ltd, Breeze (Southampton) Ltd and Breeze Motorcycles Limited to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of finance providers and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time.
