The new Polo GTI is open for orders
Hot on the heels (or wheels!) of the new Polo facelift launch in August, the new Polo GTI hot hatch is now open for orders! The new model has revised styling, more equipment and premium car technology.
With a two-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged 207ps TSI petrol engine and seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DSG), the popular pocket-rocket can reach an impressive 62mph in 6.5 seconds.
It also features the Volkswagen XDS electronic differential lock which, if necessary, controls brake pressure on the front wheels on the inside of a bend to improve driving dynamics and prevent spinning. Drivers can also select from 4 driving modes: Eco, Individual, Sport and Normal.
As standard, the new Polo GTI is fitted with IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, an illuminated radiator grille crossbar and the red-painted brake callipers traditional of the GTI models.
Inside, the sports seats feature the legendary ‘Jacara’ check pattern, and the GTI red continues on the dash which is finished in eye-catching Kings Red Glossy.
The Polo GTI also now boasts a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro and Discover Media Navigation and Infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen.
