We have an exciting opportunity at our flagship Volkswagen Passenger Car Showroom in Poole for a Retail Manager to join our high-performing team
As our Retail Manager, you'll oversee the sales operations and lead a high-performing sales team. From driving customer satisfaction to executing strategic marketing, budget management, and team development, you'll play a pivotal role to our continuous business growth and success.

Package:
- 45 hours
- Quarterly bonus
- Monthly commission structure
- Monday to Saturday (set day off in the week)
- 5 day working week
Main Duties Include:
- Oversee and ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily administration and operational tasks, ensuring compliance and excellent customer service is executed
- Identify and engage with new customers while growing market share through effective marketing and collaborating with other departmental managers.
- Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and achieve agreed objectives
- Plan and prioritise tasks to maximise productivity, meet sales objectives while working towards dealership deadlines
- Lead with clear communication through team briefings
- Recruit, train, and develop a motivated, high-performing team, conducting PDR’s and regular 1 to1’s with the Sales Manager
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, regulations and best practices
- Maintain professionalism, encourage positive change, and pursue team and personal growth
We’re Looking For!
- Experience as a New or Used Car Sales Manager, or a very experience Transaction Manager looking to take their next career steps
- You must have a background within the automotive industry
- Proven track record of achieving targets and growth within a leadership role
- Possess exceptional organisational skills.
- Passionate about people
- Ability to lead and be a part of a high performing team
- Positive demeanour with a can-do attitude
- You must be a driven individual, who can excel in a high energy, high-pressured environment
- Computer skills essential.
- Full UK driving licence
