1.0L TSI Engine Comes to New Volkswagen Golf 8 Range

The latest Generation 8 of the Volkswagen Golf has expanded the line-up, with the addition of a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine!

After opening for order back in February this year offering two 1.5-litre petrol engines and two 2.0-litre diesel units, a further 1.5 eTSI mild-hybrid was added to the offering. Now we have the 1.0 TSI 110ps 6-speed manual to add to the range, only available in the Volkswagen Golf 'Life' specification.

The Life trim is equipped as standard with the following:

  • 16-inch 'Norfolk' alloy wheels

  • Automatic LED headlights

  • Rain-sensor windscreen wipers

  • Front & rear parking sensors

  • Keyless start

This specification also features Volkswagen's Innovision Cockpit, incorporating a Digital Dashboard 10-inch Display and the Discover Navigation touch-screen infotainment. Standard safety features include:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control

  • Driver Alert System

  • Dynamic Road Sign Display

  • Lane Assist

  • Front Assist
